Dr. Sanjay Gupta is a practicing neurosurgeon and associate chief of neurosurgery at Grady Memorial Hospital and assistant professor at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. As the Emmy award-winning chief medical correspondent at CNN, he travels the globe to cover important health news, hosts the weekend show House Call with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and regularly reports on CNN's American Morning. He is a columnist for Time magazine and a contributor to The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. His latest book is Chasing Life: New Discoveries in the Search for Immortality to Help You Age Less Today (Warner Wellness, 2007). He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
