Author and illustrator Marc Brown has created more than 100 picture books for children. He is best known as the creator of Arthur the aardvark, which is the star of many picture books and a five-time Emmy Award-winning TV show. His first collaboration with author Judy Sierra, Wild About Books (Random House/Knopf, 2004), was a New York Times best-seller and winner of the E.B. White Read-Aloud Award. Their latest book is Born to Read (Random House/Knopf, 2008). He lives in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
