Eleanor Clift is contributing editor for Newsweek magazine and a regular panelist on the nationally syndicated show “The McLaughlin Group.” She is the author of War Without Bloodshed: The Art of Politics and Madam President: Shattering the Last Glass Ceiling -- both co-authored with her late husband, Tom Brazaitis – as well as Founding Sisters and the Nineteenth Amendment. Her latest book, Two Weeks of Life: A Memoir of Love, Death and Politics (Basic Books, 2008), recounts the final two weeks of her husband’s life as he battled cancer. She lives in the District of Columbia.
