Mary Pickford Theater
In conjunction with "With Malice Toward None: The Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition," which opens at the Library of Congress on February 12, 2009, the Mary Pickford Theater presents a series of films and TV programs celebrating the 200th birthday of America’s 16th president. The series includes well known Lincoln screen portrayals by Henry Fonda and Raymond Massey, but also rarely seen gems such as the celebrated early 1950's TV series Mr. Lincoln. RESERVATIONS may be made by phone, beginning one week before
any given show. Call (202) 707-5677 during business hours (Monday-Friday,
9:00 am to 4:00 pm). Reserved seats must be claimed at least 10
minutes before showtime, after which standbys will be admitted
to unclaimed seats. All programs are free, but seating is limited
to 60 seats. The Mary Pickford Theater is located on the third
floor of the Library of Congress Madison building.
